THE BRANCH RESTAURANT'S 3RD ANNUAL MOTHER'S DAY BRUNCH BUFFET IN SUPPORT OF THE SALVATION ARMY

DECLARED A HUGE SUCCESS! 

On Sunday, May 10^th, the branch restaurant  hosted their 3^rd Annual Mother’s Day Brunch Buffet in support of The Salvation Army in Kemptville. The event ran from 10 am until 2 pm at the North Grenville Municipal Centre in Kemptville and featured an array of mouth-watering freshly prepared items made local and organic products wherever possible. 

The event more than doubled in size since 2008 serving approximately 400+ people.  It was a fun event that was very family friendly.  We enjoyed the music of Grenville Grass, a local bluegrass band made up of John Casgrain, Lloyd Grant, Terry Render and Bruce Davis.  To compliment the musical ambiance, Finders Keepers, a local home decor shop, decorated the tables with their folksy wares setting a lovely and warm tone in the room.  Add to that the vendors from the Kinsmen Farmers Market that set up to sell their goods and there was something for every member of the family to enjoy!  The children were up dancing while families enjoyed the scrumptious food served in abundance by the branch restaurant. 

We would be remiss if we didn't mention the army of volunteers who slaved the day away peeling vegetables, clearing tables, washing dishes, making coffee and doing a myriad of other jobs.  We couldn't have done it without you!

Thank you to each one who came to the event, to each one who volunteered, to each one who donated and of course, to the branch restaurant for their very generous donation of $2,900 to The Salvation Army!
